Reviews
Review – Leila C
We are a family with 3 cats and they are very precious to us.
We have previously used a cattery for Ziggy.
Our newer additions Suki and Beau are not going outdoors just yet.
Ziggy the older boy is an outdoor cat and we don’t have a flap, so we needed to make sure we have someone who understands the dynamic of the house and that we can trust to ensure the little ones don’t get out, when letting the older boy in and out, as the little
ones can sneak up on you!
Clive and Helen are a delightful couple and very knowledgeable in regards to cat care and needs.
When Helen came to do the home visit, she was attentive, listened to their requirements, asked lots of questions and the cats absolutely adored her! She is so calm and gentle and we just had to make sure we got booked in for our next trip.
I feel very comfortable and secure knowing that our babies will be cared for by Cataholics and they will be able to stay at home when we are away!
Suki (Maine Coon cross) aged 20 weeks and Beau (British shorthair) aged 19 weeks
Ziggy (Snow Bengal cross) aged 4

Our cat family over the years
Smeagol (2002-2020)
Famed for his ability to turn on you without a second’s notice like his namesake in the Lord of the Rings, lover of yoghurt and catnip. Renowned for his ability to park off on the sofa for hours, until pursued by a bull terrier, when he displayed hitherto hidden athletic talents, climbing a 6-metre tree in 5 seconds flat!
Gremlynn (2002-2019)
Epic mole-catcher and tormenter of field mice. Loved bringing presents home for her mommy. Would pursue her prey for months if needed in order to get her trophy!
The Mogwais
Pixie and Gizmo were rescued from a rural township in South Africa in 2010. Helen agreed to take one of the kittens (Gizmo), but was called an hour later and told that the second kitten’s adoption by someone else had fallen through, so she went back and collected Pixie as well. They were much-loved during their time in Helen’s care and are sadly missed.
Buttons (2012-2024)
“The Little Prince” – joined our family as a wild little feral kitten, rescued from a stony hillside outside Pretoria, South Africa. He was dearly loved by everyone, and was everything from a total menace to a purring lover, and everything in-between. A character of note, who ruled the roost until he left us.
Buttons was nosy, inquisitive and involved with everything we did. He attended work-from-home meetings, watched cat videos on Youtube and loved exploring the neighbourhood, occasionally getting into scrapes with other wandering cats, much to our dismay!
